In 2010, Chris and Christian teamed up to be an ENG crew for the FIFA 2010 World Cup South Africa. Embedded with the Japan team, they produced, directed, edited and shot footage/interview for the pregame/postgame shows. Since then, they have covered the 2014 and 2018 World Cups as well as the 2019 Women's World Cup in France.
Cameraman Chris Shepherd has shot sports and documentaries for over 25 years. Based in London from 1998 to 2003, Chris shot Premier League soccer, the Australian tennis open official film, Athens Olympics , 2004/5 Mild Seven Outdoor Quest, 2002 World Cup Japan, Transworld Sport, Rolex Sailing, Futbol Mundial. From 2003 to 2008, Chris shot the ASP Surfing World Tour filming action & lifestyle to create a year round series on the ASP tour for TWI Australia.
Christian has produced commercials for NIKE and Canon as well as over 100 hours of documentary television. As a prod/dir/editor at Fox Sports Japan, he created doco style player day-in-the-life pieces, entertainment stories, historic/fan based stories as well as brought music video quality to the editing.
Please take a look at our reels and credits. Shooting these programmes required a high level of physical fitness which we love and the knowledge to use of a wide range of technical equipment including lipstick cams, mini cams and underwater housings in difficult and sometimes precarious situations.
